I would like to hear from some existing users of FreePageHosting to find out their experience of the service before I commit myself.

Excellent support.
Fully Loaded Control Panel.
Very little downtime.
Brilliant stats.

I could go on but with every host you have to take a risk and considering the amount of money it costs to host here you get value for money IMHO.

I to have found the services provided by FreePageHosting to be one of the best. The after support is excellent with almost instant answers to any queries. The package as it stands is excellent value for such a small outlay. With the 30 days trial you have got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Sure you can get hosting elsewhere but I can recommend FreePageHosting.

Yeh much the same as the others. Had little or no problems and almost instant responce to all my questions and cries for help. Nothing but VFM here. With free 30 day trial and free transfer away if your not happy you can't loose. Others such as easyspace.com take £39.00 from you to transfer away!! and another £36.00 for CGI on top of the £29.99 per year hosting fee and all this is included in the price here

The service is fab, and replies to support requests are very fast.
The server speed is perfect, which especially helps me as I have a few perl programmes on my site. I've recommended freepagehosting.com to several people!

If that was the case, all of the people mentioned would not be regular contributors to this forum, why would FPH make up names and post/answer their own questions.

Having read back on all the above, I can say for certain that everyone there is a 100% customer of FPH at the time (except Brendan who is the owner).

I am totally satisfied, have two domains hosted here and have signed up friends who are also impressed.

No joke, for real, I do not work for them, I pay them money each year for a service which just happens to be very good.

I now have 4 accounts here at FPH and like Cam I have never had a problem and I pay what I think to be the lowest price on the net for a service that up to now has been totally flawless. Genuine VFM nothing more nothing less

Maybe none of my business, but I just wanted to say that I really liked your intro page, I think it looks really great.

That said, just do the math. The intro says it's 190kb to load. You get 50000kb free from FPH. That is only about 263 visits to your index page, not counting other pages, your email (send and receive) and CPanel access. You said you are about to go live to 500 people, so the numbers just don't add up if you are on the free plan.

Your error messages do seem to be related to your site, I think it's worthwhile having a look at those broken links.

If you need any help with locating errors, I am certain that if you post the specific details in this forum then one of us should certainly be able to help you sort it out.

Hope you stay with FPH, I know it can be frustrating getting your sites to work but I think no matter where you went the same problems can occur. Most hosts offer the same server conditions as FPH, what sets this place apart is the cost of hosting here and the above average level of service.

Thanks cam for the info my apologies againzzz but I link offsite to my bt account for the flash so am I right in thinking its being downloaded from bt and not fph? thus not affecting my bw quota or have I got that wrong??!?!

To tell you the truth, I have no idea. Maybe you are 'double hitting' both your BT and FPH accounts.

I would think that if you link the flash to your BT account from your FPH account, your FPH account is only using that link to obtain the flash and then play it from your FPH account.

See, if I access your FPH account from here in Russia, then I am accessing your account and not your BT account...your FPH account is serving me that flash stuff, not BT.

If you FPH site actually took me to your BT site, and then I was 'inside' BT then I can see your theory working, but I never really leave FPH.

I reckon that's your problem. One easy way to find out is to take it off and see if your bandwidth drops considerably. Slow loading index pages would have to be the biggest turn-off for a website anyway, so maybe this will make your visitors happy in the end?

Maybe Brendan could cut you some slack with your bandwidth this month, but then again, business is business.

I'd be sure interested to know how it turns out as I was thinking about hosting a quicktime movie from another free host so it didn't obliterate my bandwidth. Now I will think twice about it.

OOPS.
I meant some people have the best idea that work in theory but never work in practise.
Unless i'm mistaken, if you have a flash show on another siteand it displays on FPH then the bandwidth comes off BOTH sites.
The best way i've been told that only uses the BW on - in this instance - BT is to use frames in your intro and use the index page to load a complete page (frame) from the BT site. I must be the worlds worst at explaining things, I hope it makes sence.

Anyway......... to the original topic.

This is the best host I've ever used, not only for the low price and excellent server speed/up time but also for the support and VERY extensive control panel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone (I already have to all my friends and some are using it now without ANY problems).
Which reminds me, I'd better finish the site off
